# Manage a team member in your outlet

## Learn how to manage your team members in eola, including updating their details, qualifications, activity permissions, notes and account settings.

You can update and manage your team members' details at any time. This includes their contact information, qualifications, activity permissions and account settings.

To manage a team member, go to Toolset -\> Team.

Click on the team member you'd like to update to open their profile. From here, you can:

- Add or update their phone number and profile photo
- Record any qualifications, including the qualification name, start date and expiry date
- Add internal notes that are visible to both you and the team member. This is a great place to record availability, preferences or other useful information

To manage the activities they can instruct, switch to the Activities tab. Here you can select the activity categories they are qualified or authorised to deliver.

To manage their account settings, switch to the Settings tab. From here you can:

- Change their permission level
- Enable or disable them as a resource, depending on whether they should be available for scheduling and bookings

**Helpful tips:**

- Team members can also add and update their own phone number, profile photo, qualifications and notes by signing in to their own eola account
- Regularly review team members and their permission levels to ensure only the right team members have access to your outlet
