Getting ready to take payments...

eola uses a payment provider to allow you to take bookings through the system. This will walk you through how to setup your 'connected' account through Stripe.

n.b. eola does not have access to your bank account or full bank details.

When you first log into your eola account you will see a banner on the dashboard 'Payment details needed' and we recommend completing this as soon as possible.  Depending on the size of your company Stripe may ask for details on multiple representatives, which is why we recommend starting as soon as you can.  There are no signup fee's or credit cards required and all commission is taken from the bookings your receive through the system.  Click 'Add details' to get started and then 'Connect to Stripe', at this point all of the details you enter will be held with Stripe and not eola.

You will be asked for information about your industry then person details.  Depending on the type of business you are i.e. sole trader, limited or charity Stripe will ask a number of questions relating to that business type.  If you have any issues at any point or do not have the documents to hand click 'return to eola' left handside and email help@eola.co.

Once you have completed this you will be returned to your dashboard and the banner will have disappeared.  This is while Stripe does their checks on the information you have provided.  All going well the account will be approved and you are ready to go.  If there are any issues the banner will reappear and request additional information from you.  One of the team will also get a notification and reach out to you.
