Create a store item

Learn how to use the Store items app to add merchandise and other general products to eola.

Store items let you sell general products, such as branded clothing, accessories or small kit, through eola. Everything is recorded alongside your bookings, so your sales and reporting stay in one place.

Store items are currently in beta, and we're continuing to add to them. If you'd like a hand getting set up, contact our team at help@eola.co.

Switch on Store items

  1. Go to Toolset -> Apps
  2. Select 'Store items'
  3. Select 'Add to eola' and confirm if prompted

Create a store item

To create a store item, go to Products -> Store items -> Create store item.

  1. Enter a name for the item
  2. Enter the price
  3. Tick the tax rate that applies, such as 20% VAT, Exempt, Out of scope or Zero
  4. Add a reporting code if you use them (optional)
  5. Click Create store item

Your item is now ready to sell. To make changes later, select it from the list in Products -> Store items.

Pricing

There is a 5.0% fee on store item sales. Standard payment processing fees also apply.

Helpful tips:

  • Use clear names so your team can find items quickly at the desk
  • Add reporting codes to make your sales easier to track
  • To offer extras customers can add while booking online, use add-ons on your activities
