Turn off invoicing

Find out what to check before Invoicing is switched off and how our team can turn it off for you.

If you no longer need to send invoices, our team can switch Invoicing off for you. We'll make sure everything is settled first, so no payments are left waiting.

Before you turn it off

Make sure none of your invoices are still open:

  1. Go to Reports -> Invoices
  2. Select Filter, tick 'Open' and click Apply
  3. For each open invoice, either wait for your customer to pay, mark it as paid if they've paid you another way, or cancel the booking if it's no longer going ahead

You may also want to download your Invoices report for your records before Invoicing is switched off.

Turn off Invoicing

Go to Toolset -> Apps and select 'Invoicing'. Because our team manages Invoicing for you, you'll see 'Cannot automatically remove' under the button. Select 'Contact us', or email us at help@eola.co, and we'll switch it off for you.

What happens next

Once Invoicing is off, 'Invoice' no longer appears as a payment method at checkout. Payments from invoices that have already been paid stay in your payouts as normal.

Good to know

  • Thinking of turning it off because invoicing isn't quite working the way you'd like? Let us know what you need. We're always improving Invoicing and may be able to help
  • If you'd like customers to pay later for the odd booking, a payment link can work well instead

Helpful tips:

  • Clear your open invoices first, as this makes switching off quick and simple
  • Let your team know Invoicing is being switched off so they choose another payment method at checkout
  • You can ask us to switch Invoicing back on at any time
