# Set up seasonal pricing

## Learn how to charge different prices at different times of year, so your prices automatically match demand across your season.

Seasonal pricing lets you set different prices for different dates, such as higher prices in the school holidays or lower prices early in the season. Once it's set up, the right price is applied automatically, so there's nothing to change on the day.

**Switch on seasonal pricing**

Go to Toolset -\> Apps -\> Seasonal pricing and select 'Add to eola'.

**Add seasonal prices**

Go to Toolset -\> Seasonal pricing. Your activities and accommodation are listed here.

1. Select the product you'd like to add seasonal prices to
2. Choose a start date and a finish date
3. Enter the prices for those dates
4. Click 'Add seasonal price' to add more date ranges
5. Click Save

You can also reach your seasonal prices from a product's pricing page using the 'Configure seasonal prices' link.

**How are seasonal prices used?**

Your standard price applies on any date without a seasonal price. During a seasonal date range, the seasonal price is used instead. Activities are priced by the date of the session, and accommodation is priced night by night.

The prices you enter follow your product's pricing, for example adult and child prices, or a base price plus a price per person. Leave a price blank to keep your standard price.

**Good to know**

- Seasonal pricing is available for activities and accommodation
- Date ranges can't overlap
- Your widget's 'From' price shows your lowest upcoming price
- Seasonal prices aren't copied when you duplicate a product, so add them to the new product

**Helpful tips:**

- Set your seasonal prices before you open bookings for the season
- Use lower prices in quieter periods to fill more of your spaces
- Check your widget after saving to see your prices on different dates
