# Set up check-in

## Learn how to use the Check-in app to track arrivals by checking customers in as they reach your venue.

Knowing who has arrived makes your sessions run more smoothly. The Check-in app adds a check-in status you can update as customers arrive, giving you an easy register for every session.

It's free to use.

**Switch on Check-in**

1. Go to Toolset -\> Apps
2. Select 'Check-in'
3. Select 'Add to eola' and confirm if prompted

**Check customers in**

Once the app is on, a check-in button appears on each party on the booking management page. Use it to change the party's status when they arrive.

You can switch between statuses to keep track of customers on site.

**Helpful tips:**

- Check customers in as they arrive so your team can see at a glance who's still to come
- Add QR code check-in to make busy arrivals quicker
- A desktop scanner is the fastest option at a busy front desk
