A few terms you'll see as we move through the guides...
As you start using eola, you'll come across a few terms we use to describe different parts of the platform. Here's a quick introduction to some of our most common eola jargon:
Product: the general term we use for anything you sell through eola. Activities, rentals, memberships and accommodation are all types of products.
Activity: a product or experience you sell that can have multiple customers booked onto the same time slot.
Apps: additional features and tools within eola that you can enable to help you run your business and get more from your platform.
Dashboard: the first page you see when you log in to eola. When our guides ask you to navigate somewhere, we'll usually start from the Dashboard.
Rentals: physical equipment that customers can hire for a set period of time, with the option to offer different pricing for longer hire periods.
Resources: anything you need to manage availability or capacity, from equipment and instructors to spaces or other limits. Linking resources to your activities and rentals can help you manage your availability automatically.
Widget: your online booking experience. It's the Book Now button or booking interface added to your website, where customers can browse your products, choose their options and make a booking.
