View and manage membership discount codes

You can use the Memberships tab to see how your membership discount codes are performing, including how many customers have used each code and how much you've discounted so far.

You can also turn a code off when you no longer want new customers to use it.

View your membership discount codes

1. Go to Products -> Discount codes
2. Select the Memberships tab

You'll see all the membership discount codes you've issued.

The list shows:

• the offer
• the memberships the code applies to
• redemptions (how many customers have actually completed checkout and now have a paying membership using the code) 
• how much you've given away (the total amount you've discounted so far. If it's an ongoing discount then this amount will increase as more discounted payments are taken) 
• the expiry date 
• whether the code is Live or Off (to turn off, select 'turn off this code') 

You'll also see totals across all your membership discount codes. You can view the details of a code individually, including memberships it can be used on, by selecting a code. 

Helpful tips: 

• A code that discounts every payment can cost considerably more over time than a discount code that discounts the first payment only, so keep an eye on Given away when reviewing ongoing promotions
• Don't forget you can turn off a discount code to stop new customers from using it without affecting customers who have already used the code 
• If your discount code reaches it's expiry date, or maximum redemptions, it'll turn off automatically. New customers can't use the code, but existing customers keep their discount according to the terms they originally signed up with 
• If a discount code is used, your payout report will show the discounted amount is reported rather than the original membership price
