My Dashboard is asking me to re-verify my details with Stripe
Find out why eola is asking you to re-verify your Stripe details, what to do next, and how to avoid payout disruptions by completing your payment account verification.
If you see a Payment details needed banner on your eola Dashboard asking you to re-verify your details with Stripe, this means Stripe needs some additional information from you to keep your payment account active.
Stripe is eola's payment provider and is responsible for securely processing your customer payments and sending your payouts from eola. As part of their ongoing legal obligation, they may occasionally need you to confirm or update your business information.
Important: eola does not have access to your bank account or your full bank details. Any information you provide during this process is entered directly with Stripe and held securely by them.
Why am I being asked to verify again?
Stripe may request additional verification for a number of reasons, including:
- Your business information has changed
- Stripe needs updated documents or information
- Their routine compliance checks require further confirmation
- Additional information is needed about your business or representatives
These checks are a normal part of keeping payment accounts secure and compliant.
What should I do?
If the banner has appeared on your Dashboard, we recommend completing the verification as soon as possible.
Click Add details and follow the same process as when you first connected your Stripe account. You'll be taken through to Stripe, where you'll be asked to provide the information they need.
Once completed, Stripe will review the information provided and update your account status.
What happens if I don't complete this?
It's important to complete any Stripe verification requests as quickly as possible.
If the requested information isn't provided in time, Stripe may place restrictions on your account. This could prevent payments from being processed and may mean eola is unable to send your payouts until the verification is completed.
