Add benefits to a membership 

Membership benefits let you give members exclusive pricing that isn't available to your general customers. The more valuable benefits you offer, the more attractive your membership can become, and the more likely members are to keep coming back. For example, you could offer members free activities, a percentage discount or a fixed amount off selected activities.

Decide who the benefits apply to

When setting up your membership price plan, you'll choose how many people the membership benefit applies to. For example, a membership for one adult would include 1 adult and 0 children. A family membership for four people could include 2 adults and 2 children.

This determines how many people can use the membership benefits when the member makes a booking. The member will only be able to apply their benefits to the number of people included in their membership.

Add your membership benefits

Once you've set how many people the membership applies to, you can add the benefits you'd like to offer.

Go to Products -> Memberships, select the membership from the table and click on it.

Then:

1. Click Edit Benefits

2. Click Create

3. Use the drop-down menu to choose the type of benefit you want to offer: No Charge, % Off or Fixed Price Off

4. Select the activity the benefit should apply to

5. Click Add Benefit

6. Repeat these steps for each benefit you'd like to offer

You can add as many benefits as you need and can add, change or remove them at any time.

Helpful tips:

• Think about which activities will offer the most value to your members when choosing your benefits

• Membership benefits can only redeemed online via the widget, so do encourage your members to take advantage of our easy online booking process to get the most from their membership benefits 

• You can offer different types of benefits across different activities. For example, free entry to one activity and 20% off another

• Members will have access to their membership benefits straight away, until the moment their cancellation takes effect

• Remember that the number of adults and children included in the pricing plan controls how many people can use the membership benefits on a booking

• Review your benefits regularly to make sure they're still offering good value for your members
