I can't see Invoice as a payment option at checkout
Find out why 'Invoice' might not be showing at checkout and how to get it set up for you and your team.
If you or a team member can't see 'Invoice' as a payment method at checkout, it's usually a quick setting to check. Here are the most likely reasons.
Invoicing hasn't been switched on yet
Go to Toolset -> Apps and look for Invoicing. If it doesn't show as On, select 'Invoicing' and then 'Request access', or contact our team at help@eola.co, and we'll switch it on for you.
Your permission set doesn't include Invoicing
Team members need Invoicing access to raise invoices. Owners and Managers have this as standard. To check, go to Toolset -> Team -> Permission sets, select 'View' on the permission set and look for Invoicing under Bookings. If you can't change permissions yourself, ask an Owner on your account.
Stripe needs some details from you
If your Dashboard shows a 'Payment details needed' banner, Stripe, eola's payment provider, needs a few more details before some payments can be taken. Select 'Add details' and follow the steps.
What should I check?
- Check Invoicing shows as On in Toolset -> Apps
- Check your permission set includes Invoicing
- Check your Dashboard for a 'Payment details needed' banner
- Refresh the page and start checkout again
If none of these help
Contact our team at help@eola.co with your name, what you were booking and a screenshot of the checkout screen, and we'll be happy to help.
Helpful tips:
- Once Invoicing is on, let your team know so they can offer it to schools, clubs and companies
- Give front desk staff who take group bookings a permission set that includes Invoicing
- Add your company and VAT numbers in Toolset -> Centre settings before you send your first invoice
