[Credit vouchers](https://help.eola.co/vouchers-passes-discount-codes?hsLang=en#credit-vouchers) # Create a credit voucher ## Learn how to issue a credit voucher to a customer from your Dashboard, and how to offer credit vouchers for sale through your booking widget. Credit vouchers hold an amount of credit that a customer can put towards a future booking with you. They're a handy way to say thank you, make up for a session that didn't go to plan, or offer credit in place of a refund, while keeping that spend with your business. You can issue a credit voucher yourself in a few clicks, and you can also offer credit vouchers for customers to buy through your booking widget. **Issue a credit voucher** To issue a credit voucher, go to Sales -\> Credit vouchers -\> Issue credit voucher. 1. **Voucher code:** We'll create a code for you, or you can replace it with your own 2. **Amount:** Enter the value of the voucher 3. **Expiry period:** Enter a number and choose days, weeks, months or years 4. Click Issue credit voucher Your new voucher will appear in the Active tab on your Credit vouchers page. To share it with your customer, click the voucher and select 'Print PDF', then print it or email it to them. **Sell credit vouchers through your widget** If you'd like customers to be able to buy credit vouchers online, go to Products -\> Credit vouchers. 1. Turn on 'Offer credit vouchers for sale' 2. **Voucher tagline:** Add a short line (up to 120 characters) that shows in your widget 3. **Reporting code (optional):** Add your own reference code if you use one 4. **Voucher text:** Describe your vouchers on the page where customers buy them (up to 3,000 characters) 5. **Expiry period:** Set how long purchased vouchers stay valid 6. **Voucher template and Text to display on pdf (optional):** Upload your own design and add a message to the voucher PDF 7. Click Save, or Save & preview to check how your voucher looks **Good to know** - Credit vouchers are different from activity vouchers.
