# Check your booking links point to your widget

## Make sure customers who find you through your own channels book through your widget, so your direct bookings stay direct.

Customers can book with you in two ways: through your own widget, which you share on your website, social media and emails, or through eola Marketplace, where we bring new customers to you.

Whether a booking counts as a Marketplace booking depends on the link the customer used to book. Making sure your own booking links point to your widget keeps your direct bookings as standard bookings, and means your reporting shows a clear picture of where your customers are coming from.

**How to tell the two links apart**

- **Your widget link** starts with **widget.eola.co**. This is the link to use everywhere you promote your business yourself.
- **Marketplace links** start with **eola.co** (without "widget"). These are the pages we promote on your behalf, so they aren't needed on your own website or channels.

**Where to check your links**

- 'Book now' buttons on your website, including in the header, footer and on individual activity pages
- Links in your social media bios and posts
- Email signatures, newsletters and any automated emails you send
- QR codes on posters, leaflets and signage
- The booking link on your Google Business Profile

**Working with a web designer?**

If someone else looks after your website, please share this guide with them. Buttons that look like a 'Book now' button can sometimes link to an eola.co page rather than your widget, so it's worth a quick check whenever your website is updated.
