# Add times to your calendar

## Learn how to add times for your activities, set up repeating schedules, add one-off sessions and manage times once customers have booked.

Once you've created an activity, the next step is to add the times customers can book. Your activity only appears on your widget when it has upcoming times, so it's worth setting up your schedule straight away.

You can set up a repeating schedule for regular sessions, add one-off times whenever you need them, and change things as your season develops.

**Set up a repeating schedule**

To add regular times, go to Products -\> Activities and select 'Edit' on your activity.

1. Go to the 'Schedule' tab
2. Add the date and start time of your first session
3. Choose how often the session repeats, for example weekly
4. Choose whether it repeats indefinitely or until an end date
5. Add another row for each extra start time or day
6. Click Save and exit

Your times will appear on your calendar and widget straight away. To stop a schedule, change its end date to the day after your final session.

**Add a one-off time**

For a one-off session, go to your calendar and click and drag across the time you'd like, or use the 'add a time' button in the bottom-right corner of the calendar. This is handy for extra sessions during busy periods.

**Change times once customers have booked**

Once someone has booked onto a session, the session can't be deleted, which keeps your customers' bookings safe. Instead, you can stop further bookings: click on the session in your calendar and select 'Disable further bookings'.

If you need to move a customer to a different time, reschedule their booking rather than editing the session.

**What does 'dormant' mean?**

An activity becomes dormant automatically when it has no upcoming times that customers can book, for example when all its dates have passed or every session is full. Dormant activities don't appear on your widget. As soon as you add new times, the activity goes live again.

**Good to know**

- When you change or remove a schedule, any unbooked sessions you've disabled are tidied up for you. Sessions with bookings or calendar notes are kept
- Your schedule needs at least one row. If you don't want any future times for now, set the remaining row to a date in the past
- Dormant activities that you no longer need can be archived from the Dormant tab in Products -\> Activities

**Helpful tips:**

- Set up your schedule for the whole season in one go, so customers can plan ahead and book early
- Use one-off times to add extra sessions when demand is high
- Check your widget after adding times to see your sessions just as your customers will
